International Experience
Studying fashion and textiles at Saxion University in the Netherlands provided me with invaluable international experience, both culturally and professionally. Immersed in a diverse European learning environment, I was exposed to global perspectives on design, innovation, and sustainability while collaborating with students and lecturers from various cultural backgrounds. This experience expanded my understanding of the fashion industry beyond a local context and enhanced my ability to work effectively in cross-cultural teams. A highlight of my studies was completing a sustainability project with the esteemed fashion brand Tommy Hilfiger, where I investigated responsible material choices and more ethical production practices. This experience solidified my commitment to sustainability as a core principle in my future fashion career.
